Simone Pozzi

Simone Pozzi works as Human Factors and Safety expert in Deep Blue - Consultancy and Research (Rome). He achieved his master degree (2001) and a PhD (2006), with specialisation in Human-Computer Interaction. Both the master and the PhD theses have dealt with human-centred technological innovation in safety critical systems, in particular for what concerns field studies and user requirements definition, evaluation of innovation with first line operators (i.e. train drivers and air traffic controllers). He has participated in many international projects in the area of Human Factors and Safety, funded by different organisations, including the EU commission and the European Organisation for Safety in Air Traffic Control (EUROCONTROL).

 

He regularly publishes in peer-reviewed international academic journal (the latest ones are Mind, Culture and Activity; Safety Science; Human Factors and Aerospace Safety Journal), in international conferences (latest ones: EUROCONTROL Annual Safety R&D Seminar, SAFECOMP, ISCAR, Symposium on Resilience Engineering, European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics).
